Plum & Partridge

My partner and I stayed here for 1 nights on Valentines Day. From the moment we got there everything was fantastic, the place itself is really nice, all slick and span with a log burner going. The room we stayed in was great, very clean. Our evening meal and breakfast were superb today the least. Amazing food. But the best part is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Really highly recommended. Thank you!

Stayed overnight with a couple of friends, the rooms are lovely and extremely clean. Had an incredible meal with top notch service from Louise and her team. The pub itself is cosy and modern with a great selection of food/drink options - would highly recommend visiting! Thank you, we will be back :)

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

Another lovely stay at Plum and Partridge. Tried a different room and found it quiet, spacious and wonderfully furnished. Food exceptional as always. Big thanks to Louise and all staff for looking after us so well. Oscar, our little dog enjoyed his weekend. You catered for Anne's gluten and lactose intolerance very well. We had a great evening meal recently at The Plum & Partridge which is local to us . It's more of gastro pub with room than a hotel. I appreciated that there were vegan options for all courses including a choice of two mains, which is rare for Yorkshire village pubs. The mushroom and ale pie (vegan), chips and peas was super. A good range of beers available, including A/F. Others in my party had a fish sharing board which they said was "excellently presented and really tasty". The place is bright and spacious, much bigger inside than appears from the outside. They have a bar area and log burner for those who just want a drink. The service was friendly and attentive, though note they do have a 12% service charge. Appreciate it's very difficult running a rural pub these days, I hope they do well.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely pub with our two dogs. The décor throughout is stylish and welcoming, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The food was excellent, great quality and generous portions that really hit the spot after a day out exploring. The service was also brilliant, with happy, friendly staff who made us feel at home. A special mention to Louise, who was incredibly helpful and recommended some fantastic local walks. All in all, a great stay and excellent value, in a perfect location close to Helmsley and York. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Had a lovely weekend here, friendly staff, fab food, great location. I would have scored the room 5 stars but it had problem with a bad smell. We would recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Went for Sunday lunch with the wife and was not disappointed. The drive out was scenic, there is parking round the back of the hotel. I have a wheat allergy and most of the menu had a gluten free option. The food was delicious and I was stuffed by the time we left. The service and atmosphere was amazing. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had. I would highly recommend that you visit.
